We were thrilled to have visitors over Labor Day weekend and were especially excited to see “Uncle” Matt and Brian. They helped us celebrate our fifth wedding anniversary and we showed them all the quintessential Seattle sites. One of the bigger highlights of the weekend was the Bumbershoot music festival. Ashton had a great time running around the fountain and watching everyone slide down the sides. Of course no event would be complete without a little festival food. Ashton and Matt had corn on the cob together and I think they both thought it was very yummy! We also went to the Fremont neighborhood to see the Market, stroll along the water and discover the Troll under the bridge. Ashton loved having two new playmates to entertain him… and entertain him they did. They built a huge “garage” out of lego blocks and Ashton had fun driving trucks and cars into it and knocking the buildings down. Ashton left them with hugs and kisses and hopes that they visit again soon!
