Upon arriving in Wisconsin this summer, we spent time with Grandma 'Mina and Grandpa Ray and all the cousins. Michelle, Melissa and Margaret made sure that Ashton and Emmett had plenty to keep them busy. We all played baseball, soccer, swung on swings, held the bunnies and even had time for our annual visit to Kopp's Custard for lunch.
Grandma 'Mina hosted a piņata party with neighborhood kids taking turns pulling ribbons from a kinder, gentler piņata than the type one beats with a stick. The result was just about the same as candy and prizes spilled forth from the festively colored bull.
As usual, David's mom and dad's hospitality and the never ceasing wonderful cooking went unmatched.
