As you can tell by the volume of pictures, we had a LOT of fun up in Gresham, WI at Gran & Opa's “cottage.” Most of the day was spent down at the beach fishing, swimming, fishing, building castles and fishing some more. Ashton, like his mom when she was a little girl, found it most comfortable to spend the day on the beach without the burden of swim wear.
Yes, there was an occasional Leinie's, but it WAS summertime in Wisconsin, which just wouldn't be summer without a Leinie's in tow. Emmett was most content just sitting on the beach playing and eating sand.
In between picking beans and squash at Gran & Opa's garden, Ashton found time to build a rocket ship in Opa's workshop. Ashton had his own design in his mind as he told Opa which piece of wood to cut next and how to attach it to the ever growing structure.
