Ashton turned four this month. He invited all twelve of his closest friends to see the volcano that he and dad made and planned to set off to celebrate Ashton's becoming age four. After the countdown, the volcano spewed bubbly cola 15' into the air, much as it might have millions of years ago. Earlier that day, Ashton's friends heard a story about how dinosaurs had roamed our quiet little neighborhood before they died off. The kids were sure that there were dinosaur bones beneath the playground at our neighborhood park (because that's what Ashton's mom and dad had told them). Sure enough, after a little digging, the kids soon unearthed at least a dozen bones of various questionable origin. But hey, they looked like 'dino bones.
Ashton's most exciting gift was probably his new Firestorm bike which visiting Aunt Liz showed him how to ride. Thanks Gran & Opa for the gift of the great new bike!
